Bainbridge Academy Learning Disability Program. At Bainbridge Academy our commitment is to meet the needs of children with Learning Disabilities. We help meet the needs of children with Speech Language Disorders and Sensory Processing Disorders at Bainbridge Academy. Our staff works with families through education, support, resources and advocacy.

At Bainbridge Academy we offer 1st through 12th grade education. We include an Upper School and Lower School. The Upper School Students typically range from 13 to 18 years of age. The Lower School Students typically range from 6 to 12 years of age.

Bainbridge Academy provides each child the opportunity to achieve their full potential. Every child is provided a balanced approach. Our approach includes physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development. Bainbridge Academy accepts and supports our students with a constancy of love and understanding.

Quick Facts About Bainbridge Academy: Bainbridge Academy Is A Learning Disability Program

Bainbridge Academy is a Learning Disability Program. Bainbridge Academy is a private school for students with Language based Learning Disabilities. Our program includes students with Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Auditory Processing Disorder, ADD, ADHD and Sensory Processing Disorder. Our education program is for students from the 1st grade through the 12th grade.

Bainbridge Academy is a private school for students with Language based Learning Disabilities. We provide Orton-Gillingham which serves as the foundation of the language arts curriculum.

A Learning Disability Program

Bainbridge Academy is a Learning Disability Program. We use Multi-sensory teaching techniques to address individual student learning styles. A supportive and nurturing environment fosters each student’s academic and social growth. We actively pursue experiential field trips and hands on learning for students.

Bainbridge Academy offers 1st through 12th grade education. The Lower School Students typically range from 6 to 12 years of age. The Upper School Students typically range from 13 to 18 years of age.

Bainbridge Academy programs teach our student’s with below average to above average cognitive ability. We include students who have co-occurring language-based learning differences. These are learning differences typically seen in Dyslexia, Dyscalculia and Dysgraphia. Co-occurring language-based learning differences is also seen in Auditory Processing, Attention Deficit Disorders, and Sensory Processing Disorders.

Students who benefit from the Bainbridge Academy program often have fallen behind in school. Because they have academic weakness in the areas of reading, writing, mathematics, attention, and expressive / receptive language deficits.

Bainbridge Academy Learning Disability Program Options For Graduation

Bainbridge Academy Learning Disability Program Offers Options For Graduation. The students have different graduation options to complete their education at Bainbridge Academy. One option is when the student meets all credit hours. Then the student is able to graduate with a regular diploma. Another option is for students who have not met the required credit hours for a regular diploma. At the time of their graduation they will be awarded a certificate of completion.

There is a third option for those students with extensive needs. These students are able to extent their enrollment in our program. We are able to extend students up to 22 years of age. Then these students are to obtain the required credit hours necessary to graduate with a standard diploma.

Our program is unable to accommodate students with disruptive behaviors.

Intensive Remediation

Bainbridge Academy is an Intensive Remediation program. Students that struggle in their Academic Subjects are placed in classes according to where they are currently performing. Student placement is not based upon their traditional grade level. Bainbridge Academy students are able to obtain the foundational information that was missed in the more traditional classroom setting.
